Suspended in Space	Suspense	Reading New Words Strategy Sequence of Events	A violent storm has blown the ending out of a suspense book leaving its heroine Dr. Kashmira Motiwalla dangling from a cliff. Rita Bookmobile quickly transports our literary trio to the Suspense Zone where they read and study a suspense book in order to rescue the frantic Dr. Motiwalla.
The Heights of Adventure	Adventure	Preview and Predict Strategy	Students help Paige and Manuel rescue Theo who becomes trapped in his favorite adventure story. Rita Bookmobile and our trio track down the bumbling adventure hero, Alejandro Marquez, who left their friend stranded in his story and help Theo escape from his predicament.
Blue Jeans	Nonfiction	K-W-L Strategy, Identifying Main Ideas and Supporting Details	After discovering that blue jeans everywhere have disappeared, our trio travel to the Nonfiction Nebula where they help Levi Strauss recall how jeans were invented, then help to restore history and blue jeans too!

Thanks to their research-and to speaking out on the subject - the trio successfully stalls the mall construction!
License to Drive	Realistic Fiction	Story Map Prediction, Strategy, Identifying Story Elements	When students and the literary trio discover that Rita Bookmobile has been driving with an expired license, they help her face Judge Reckonwit by summarizing a realistic fiction story in order to avoid the clutches of the dreaded "masher."
The Unfinished Trilogy	Serial Fiction	Preview and Predict Strategy, Cause-Effect Relationships	Paige, Theo and Manuel come to the rescue of a serial fiction writer who cannot finish the third book in her long-awaited trilogy. By reading the trilogy's second book, students and our heroes help the author recreate her characters and enable her to finish her book.

And, thus Paige is able to triumph on stage.
Fax to the Future	History	K-W-L Strategy, Distinguishing between fact and fiction	Time traveler Opina Facto, from the year 2400, jams her time travel device in the 20th century and mistakes Manual for an ancient Maya kind. With Rita's help, our trio travels to the History Quadrant of the Reading Dimension where they read an historical article that helps Opina restore some missing pieces of Mayan history!
