1. Log on as user.

2. Open Math Blaster Mystery by double clicking.

3. Type in your first name. Click OK.

4. Choose your game

Mission: Follow the steps to solve the problem.

Steps 1,3,4 - Click a letter to answer; then click OK.

Step 2 - More than one choice may be required. Click on the letters to select each choice; then click OK.

Definitions and formulas are available from the Help menu.

Mission - Stack the three weights that equal the target number onto scale B or scale C.

Click to mark the unneeded weight.

Click and drag weights to scales B or C.

A weight with a larger value cannot be placed on a weight with a smaller value.

Click OK when three weights on scale B or C equal the target number.

Select Goal from the Help menu to see the minimum number of moves possible.

Mission: Find the mystery equation.

Enter a number of symbol in each box and click OK.

If the number is correct and in the right place, it will move up to the next level.

If it is correct but in the wrong place, the box will remain white.

If there are no more or none at all, the box will become gray.

Select Hint from the Help menu for hints.

Mission: Determine the mystery number.

To find clues, click on objects in the room.

Enter a number in the clue box, then press <Return> or click OK.

A highlighted clue indicates information you may have missed.

To get a hint, select Hints from the Help menu.

Definitions are available from the Help menu.

Remember to look under Help on the Menu Bar if you need a hint.

5. To quit Select Activity on the Menu Bar and draw down to Stop.

6. Ask your teacher if you are to save or print.

7. To quit the entire game draw down from file to quit.
