Mrs. Olson is Up North!
She was selected by the
Wells Fargo Bank Branch
to accompany a group to the 2003 Iditarod. She will leave February 25
and return March 6!

This web site was created by the 1998 6th grade students of Wilder Elementary School, Grand Forks, ND and their teacher, Mrs. Jeanie Olson. We were awarded a $1,000 Mini-grant for Technology Incorporation within this unit by the Compaq Computer Corporation. In these links you will find information pertaining to the activities we use to supplement the Iditarod Sled Dog Race theme. From art projects, online chats, button creation, sled building, bootie sewing, winter survival, favorite links, kids selections, science experiments and curriculum, social studies, music, and even our very own I-Kid-A-Rod sled kid race through our local University's park...we hope you enjoy and use some of our activities.
