Our hearts broken since we didn't get Doug Swingley's signature on the autographed Monopoly gameboard, we thought of other ways to get his "John Hancock." We hit eBay and found a trail mail envelope carried by him in 1997. We contacted the seller of the trail mail cache and found out that mushers sometimes carry 20 or more of these envelopes as part of their promotional materials! WOW! Wonder if we can find one to bid on at a later date. It is said that after the race has finished, caches such as this beauty, are auctioned off to raise money for funding.
